A study of the
work of a single artist or group/movement of artists. There are many of
these available in the library. Look in the library catalog under the
artist's name. Most of the monograph's contain excellent interpretations
of the artist's works and some are comprehensive in covering the
artist's full repetoire, and literature about the artist (bibliography). A
monograph which covers the breadth of an artist's production is referred
to as a catalogue raisonne.
