Journals for the visual arts held by the WNCLN libraries cover a wide range of areas, including Art Education, Studio Arts, Art History, Photography, Ceramics, and Design. To determine if  UNCA holds a particular journal and if a current subscription is held, consult the WNCLN catalog or the WNCLN Journal Table.

Most art journals are indexed in the Art Index,  available in Reference on the Index tables (AI.A4, bound 1924-), or in Art Abstracts, an online database, through FirstSearch. The online database indexes from 1984 - present.
