“HOMAGE TO LIFE” is a series of art works as result of the connective participatory experiences between the artist and her daughter Abigail, who was born with a genetic condition called Trisomy 18. This condition causes multiple physical handicaps and mental retardation, including non-verbalization. At birth Abigail’s prognosis was a life expectancy of 24 to 48 hours, today she is 21 years old. This series is based on Abigail’s drawings, and the exhibit includes also Abigail’s personal paintings.
