Shown here with Mr. Leach, who was at the time administrative head of the Jack Tar chain of hotels.  Mr. Kennedy served for over 45 years at the Grove Park Inn.  These services included (1) porter who met trains, (2) checked baggage in and out of the hotel, (3) brought blankets for the guests, and (4) head bellman
