1923 Joseph Dave moves to Western North Carolina and develops sales and engineering reputation as an employee of Southern Steel & Cement Co. and S. Sternberg Co..  
1929 Joseph Dave and his wife, Eva R. Dave, start Dave Steel Co. on January 7th at Roberts Street/Clingman Ave. location.  
1932 Dave Steel Company participates in first major project with construction of American Enka.  
1942 Joseph Dave and partners establish Asheville Steel and Salvage Co.  
1943 Dave Steel Company participates in World War II effort with construction of Landing Ship Mediums.  
1944 and 1945 Company is honored with Army-Navy "E" Award.  
1948 Dave Steel Company establishes Miami, Florida sales office to service Wometco Theatres and Food Fair.  
1950 Dave Steel Company purchases Oregonia Bridge Co. of Lebanon, Ohio.  
1953 Dave Steel Co. celebrates 25th Anniversary at Battery Park Hotel in Asheville, NC.  
1957 Oregonia Bridge Co. name changed to Dave Steel Corporation.  
1961 Joseph Dave and Hyman Dave divest financial interest in Asheville Steel and Salvage Co.  
1970 Bernard Dave becomes President of Dave Steel Corporation in Lebanon, Ohio.  
1976 A. Jerome Dave becomes President of Dave Steel Co., Asheville, NC.  
1979 Dave Steel Co. celebrates 50th Anniversary at the Grove Park Inn Country Club.  
1983 Dave Steel Corporation in Lebanon, Ohio reconsolidates all operations back to Asheville facilities.  
1986 Dave Steel Co. acquires property of Asheville Steel Co. on Meadow Road.  
1993 Dave Steel moves fabricating operation to Meadow Road facility and completes modernization project.  
2004 Jeffrey E. Dave becomes President of Dave Steel Company.  
2004 Dave Steel Company establishes Cincinnati, Ohio operations office to service their mid-west customers.  
2004 Dave Steel Company celebrates 75th Anniversary on July 31st at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort.
