Biography |
Bob Davy studied meteorology in Tallahassee, Florida. Upon his move to Fletcher, NC, he realized the lack of recreational areas. He organized volunteers and fundraising to create 3 ball fields. Following this effort, the plans to annex the area by Asheville became evident which inspired the movement to incorporate Fletcher, which was completed in 1989. In 2003, Bob Davy became a member of the Fletcher City Council. |
