Biography |
Father Jonah converted to Catholicism in 1996. While attending college, he met a professor in the engineering department who had become an orthodox. With time, Jonah became an Easter Right Catholic. After he graduated with a degree in chemistry and a minor in Biology, he left his plans for medicine and entered an Eastern Right monastery in Michigan to become a monk. He stayed for four years. On a pilgrimage to a large Orthodox monastery in Jordanville, New York, he met is future wife, Yelena. | |
