| Biography | H. A. Wheeler is the former President and General Manager of Lowe's Motor Speedway. His unusual nickname, "Humpy", came from his father's smoking Camel cigarettes, earning the name for the camel's hump. His father's friends called A.H. "Humpy, Jr.", which was shortened through the years. "Humpy" managed the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. He retired in May 2008. |
