Biography

Bruce Stephan Greenawalt earned his B.A. from  Maryville College; M.A., University of Wisconsin; Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1965) He was an
Associate Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, serving as Department Chair  from 1997-1998.  Dr. Greenawalt served on the Board of the  Historic Resources Commission, Asheville-Buncombe County  in 1979.
