Mush community in Leicester, North Carolina about growing up in the region,
tobacco farming, cultural continuity, and protesting the designation of
Sandy Mush as a possible nuclear waste dump. Collection includes: Interviews with fifteen residents of Sandy Mush and five family members living in the surrounding region, transcripts of each interview, photographs, and a paper on molasses workings in Sandy Mush written by Stephen Cain. | ||||
