Description Interviews with members of the Sandy Mush community in Leicester, North Carolina about growing up in the region, tobacco farming, cultural continuity, and protesting the designation of Sandy Mush as a possible nuclear waste dump.

Collection includes: Interviews with fifteen residents of Sandy Mush and five family members living in the surrounding region, transcripts of each interview, photographs, and a paper on molasses workings in Sandy Mush written by Stephen Cain.
