collection of photographs
taken by William Mungo and postcards gathered during his tour of duty from Hawaii to the Philippines within the
years of 1939 and 1940. Includes one photograph album containing
photographs and postcards of the local landscape, the indigenous peoples of the
Islands, and sundry photographs of the 31st U.S Infantry, Company H.
Also includes Mungo family photographs and memorabilia. Small group of
loose 8 x 10" photographs. Originals retained by the family of
William Patrick Mungo. |
