| Biography | Charles A. Abell was hired at the Appalachian Forest Experiment Station as a junior forester when the station's annual appropriation was raised from $19,600 to $37,450 in May of 1926. He was actively engaged in research and as a photographer for the Experiment Station from about 1926 until the mid-years of the 1930's. |
