Description People to People International began in 1959 through the efforts of its founder, Dwight D. Eisenhower and continues today under the direction of his grand-daughter, Mary Jean Eisenhower. • Status of academic librarians with Russian higher education
  • The role of information technology in Russian academic libraries and the extent to which it is implemented.
  • Innovations in Russian academic libraries
  • Assessment/evaluation of academic library resources and services
  • Top three challenges for Russian academic libraries as identified by our international peers
  • Top three challenges for Russian academic library directors/administrator as identified by our international peers.
  • The extent of professional development for Russian academic librarians
  • Is scholarly communication an issue?

Questions were generally paired to the institutions that had concerns associated with the question. Brief notes regarding the discussions and images taken at the various institutions and an overview of the Russian institutions are included in this collection, as well as booklets, ephemera, and other materials that are descriptive in nature.
