Abstract: AshevilleNow?s Exclusive Downtown Attractions map is a web based map program of the Asheville downtown area.? The program has been designed with cross web browser compatibility and has been fashioned as to accommodate future expansion.? The attractions included at this time are Local Bars, Art Galleries, and Downtown parking.? With a quick selection from a pull down bar the map is populated with whatever category is chosen, visually allowing users to observe the exact locations of these attractions.? Upon selection of a specific attraction an information box pops up, furnished with relevant information such as Name, address, phone number, email, website url, driving directions, photos, descriptions, and reviews.? This program was created for a small yet developing web based company, located at http://www.ashevillenow.com, is owned and operated by UNCA Alumni Justin Belleme.? ?

 

Technologies Used: Microsoft Access, ASP, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, a Web Based Server, and a Canon 10D, along with my personal computer made this project possible.
