The webpage generator is a tool that is meant to be used by computer novices to create personal webpages. The interface was designed so anyone with basic knowledge of using a web browser could generate a page of their own. The generated code is hidden from the user until the final step where they can look at it if they wish. This is so that users who are trying to learn how to write their own sites from scratch can look at some well-documented code. Every page that is generated has extensive comments to make it easy to flow through the source. Of course, no user is forced to interact with the source code directly if they do not want to.

To add to the usefulness of the project, users are also assigned a page ID and password. This information allows them to log back in at a later date to make any changes to page. The edit interface is very similar to the initial design interface, complete with the user-friendly drop downs and text fields for the various variables.
