Medical Action Industries  Safety Issues System Lisa Sellers Ridge Information System Major

            The Medical Action Safety Team needed a computer software system to log safety issues and resolutions.  The
Safety Issues System meets this need by providing an easy interface to log safety issues onto the computer with minimal input.
In addition, the Safety Issues System is a powerful tool to track safety issues and provide valuable data analysis to reduce
future safety incidents.
 
            To enter the issue or resolution only takes a moment.  There are options to print, email or save the preformatted
form.  The form is a Word document that allows the information to be sent to managers within the company or consultants
outside the company who do not have the program or Access on their computers.  There are other exporting options for the
advanced user to Word, Excel, Notepad, and Outlook.
 
            Reporting includes the preformatted reports listing the outstanding and resolved issues for the Safety Team Bulletin
Board.   For the advanced user, there is an editable pivot table for ?on-the-spot? data analysis that can be turned into Excel
charts.
 
            The Medical Action Industries Safety Issues System provides an easy to use interface for the beginner while providing powerful data manipulation for the advanced user.
