The Justice Family

Relationship to the Speculation Lands:
The succession of continuous members of the Justice Family as Resident Agents for the heirs of Isaac Bronson spanned a period of more than a century. James Dyer was appointed in 1818. He was succeeded by Thomas Butler. Carr Baylus, son to Thomas Butler followed as agent. Samuel J. Justice followed C.B. George was the last agent in 1920, buying the remaining 10,000 acres and dissolving the Speculation Land Company.
