Samuel Andrew Law

Relationship to the Speculation Lands:
Samuel Andrew Law was a land agent from New York whose specialty was primarily appraisal and sales of land. He was noted for his work on the Henry Drinker estate and his work with noted families in the Philadelphia area. Coxe hired Samuel Andrew Law and Ephraim Kirby  as brokers for his Pennsylvania lands and to broker his interests in the North Carolina land. His offer to bring the two into partnership with him was respectively declined in lieu of a 5% commission on the sale of the land.
