Joseph Buff and Wife Sallie Buff

Bruce Norman
Recitals: Witnesseth, that whereas on the 7th day of Jan. A.D. 1881,
the said Joseph Buff contracted and agreed with the said Bruce
Norman to sell and convey to the said Bruce Norman the tract of land
hereinafter described; and whereas, on said date the sum of $15.00
was paid by the said Bruce Norman to the said party of the first
part as the first payment on said land and it was agreed that the
deed should be made to the said Bruce Norman when the full purchase
price of one hundred and thirty ($130.00) dollars has been paid; and
whereas, said purchase price has now been paid in full.
DESCRIPTION: In Silver Creek Township, adjoining the speculation
land and others and bounded as follows: BEGINNING on a large gum and
rock in the old county line in the old Avery Gap and runs S. 43 E.
crossing a branch 138 poles to a rock on the point of a ridge;
thence East crossing a small branch 104 poles to a chestnut and rock
in the old county line; thence with the old county line as it
meanders and passing over the top of high peak to the BEGINNING,
containing 100 acres more or less.

poles to a rock on the point of a ridge; then E. xing a small branch
104 p. to a rock and chestnut in the old county line; then with the
old county line as it meanders running over the top of the high peak
to the BEGINNING, containing 100 acres.
