Know all men by these Presents that I Joseph Taylor of the first
part and Isiah Pain of the second part. Witnesseth that I Joseph
Taylor for in consideration of the sum of twenty two dollars to me
in hand aid by the said Isiah Pain the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged. Doth bargain sell and convey to the sir Isiah Pain a
certain tract or parcel of land in the county and state aforesaid
adjoining lands of the aforesaid Pain and Taylor. Beginning on a
chestnut John Grays and the afore so, Pain corner thence east with
Gray's line twenty one poles and 2 ft. to a stone in SE , Line.
Thence with a conditional line between the said Taylor and Pain
holding a persimmon tree 42 poles to a stone a conditional corner.
Thence nearly west for 24 poles to a sourwood in the Old Line.
Thence South with the old line to the beginning. Containing five
acres more or less. To have and to hold to the said Isiah Pain his
heirs and assigns forever free from all encumbrances whatsoever I
bind my self my heirs administrators and assigns to warrant and for
ever defend the right and title of the afore said land to the afore
said Isiah Pain his heirs administrators and assigns for ever. In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal, day and date above
written.
