Whereas in and by a certain Indenture made at the City of New York by
and between Isaac
Bronson and Goold Hoyt
of the City [County?] and State of New York parties thereto of the first
part and James J. Hoyt, John Ward and William [S.?] Ward, parties
thereto of the second part and [acted?] the 8th day of March 1830. And
recorded in Book 37 No. 409 n the Registers Office of Rutherford County
in the State of North Carolina, the said parties of the first part
conveyed to the said parties of the second part and their heirs forever
to hold as joint tenants and not as tenants in common and singular
certain lands situated n the State of North Carolina and more
particularly described in said deed to such trusts and a are
therein expressed.
And whereas said parties of the second part, their survivors or survivors authorized by said deed of[?] apparent-successors to themselves in said trust. And whereas John Ward the sole survivor of said parties of the second
