Surveyed for Joshua Forman 49 acres of land on Main Broad River including the land sold by Charles Gillam to said Forman[.] Beginning at a white oak on the Bank of the river and runs north 8 east 90 poles to a chestnut not found then south 80 East 90 poles to a stake in the Branch hunklers corner then with his line down the Branch as it meanders nearly South 20 West 90 poles more or less to a stake his corner where said Branch mouths in  Broad River[.]  Then up the river nearly North 80 West 84 poles more or less to the Beginning[.]  Sept 12th 1838
