Entered the 13th day December 1806
Surveyed for Austin Merrick Fifty acres
of Land in Rutherford County lying on Both sides of White Oak Creek Beginning on a pine and Gum John Moore's Corner by his own old Beginning Corner P.O. [post oak] near to J. Moore's Still house on the E' side of the Branch then with Moore's line No. 60 E. 60 poles to a pine Moore's Corner then E' 90 poles to a B.O. [black oak] sapling Moore's Corner then Et. 32 poles to a R.O. [red oak] Young's Corner then with Young's line So. 70 poles to a poplar on the Bank of the Creek then So. 42 poles xing [crossing] the Creek to a stake then West thirty five poles to a stake this own Corner thence No. 115 poles xing the Creek to a B.O. his own old Corner thence Wt. 140 poles to the Beginning the 15th of Febr. 1808
