At the request of Mr. Sam'l J. Justice, Hendersonville, N.C. I send you herewith, sketch of Green river from the mouth of Big Hungry creek to the Henderson-Weaver line at the upper end of Long Island.

Mr. S.J. Justice says he is not acquainted with the property lines below the mouth of Big Hungry creek and refers me to you for this information.

Kindly place land lines closing on or crossing the river on ties sketch with the names of the parties owning or occopying [sic] same, so that such lines and properties may be indicated on maps I am preparing.

I shall thank you very much to give this matter your earliest attention, returning sketch as soon as possible, as I am pushing this work with a fill force of assistants and with to place it in your hands within twenty days if possible.
