dated July 30, 1798. The response is signed David Miller, Office of
Claims of Land, Rutherford County. On the back is a survey for an

1344. David Miller Entry office of claims for Land in the County of
Rutherford to the Surveyor of said County Greeting you are divided
and required as soon as may be to Lay of & survey for David Porter a
tact or parcel of Land containing Fifty acres in the county
aforesaid on Both sides of second Broad river joining Hugh Black
Thos. Marlow & Mary Huddlestons lines for compliment.
Enterd. the 7th Day of April 1798.
Observing the direction of the act of Assembly in such care, made &
provided for running Lands. Two just & fair plans for such survey.
with a proper certificate annexed to each. You are to transmit with
this Warrant to the secretaries office without delay. Given under my
hand at office this 30th Day of July 1798.
