Dr. Charles Mosley reviews his education and times spent in Raleigh, NC. during the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was involved with the 'sit-ins' for Mosley discusses his memories of the Asheville Urban Renewal project, "In essence, Urban Renewal was Negro Removal". He is involved with numerous Asheville projects and associations for African Americans, including YMI. A copy of the church bulletin for The Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church is included. |

Biography |
Dr. Charles Ronald Mosley was born in 1938 in Passaic, NJ. He attended Stephens-Lee High School, graduating in 1967, Shaw University in Raleigh, graduating with a B.A. in 1961 and completing his B.Div. from Shaw Divinity School in 1966. He is pastor with The Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church in Asheville. |
