the amount of land
contained in the original contract to E. W. Helms. In the year 1880
D. W. Helms transferred the 5.0 acres of land on the West of of the
said Green Strip which was later deeded to Phillip Helms or his
assignee and the 78 acres on 2 sides of the Green strip, which was
later deeded to Phillip Helms or his assignee and the 78 acres on 2
sides of the Green strip of 6 acres and North of the 33 acres was
deeded to E. W. Helms or his assignee
As you will see from the enclosed map the 78 acres to which Mr.
Stephenson says he has a deed from Mr. C. N. Simpson has nothing to
do with land while the 98 a- [acres] joins the 333 acres on the East
side from a [s..?] D. M. [Dearests?] cor[ner] running N 25 E 52 [chus?]
to a well in a line of the E W Helms purchase which is the beg
corner of the 333 acre tract[.] You will note that the 98 A- [acres]
was surveyed 19th Dec 188 [1888?] by Mr. Baucum while the 339 A.
[acres] was surveyed by Mr. Biggers 4 & 5 day o[f] Feb 1896. As
there was no bauk at this place in the year 1986 it is impossible
for me to get any information in regard to the payment of the
$162.00 claimed to have been made by Mr. Stephenson other than the
payment
