[?] proposes to take the 2 Davis mine tracts & put up machinery in six months [in a ?] lease for 5 years & pay as rent 1/10 of the gross proceeds provided that if a sale is made during the term of [the?] lease he is to be paid a fair price for his machinery & paid back the rent or [toll?] of the year last [passed?] also the [Hoscye?] mine tract [is?] to put up Machinery in 12 months he wrote this to F. Bronson 10th May 1855-----
