			This conveyance, made this the 10th day of February, 1926, by and 
			between G.W. Justice and his wife, Irene Justice, of the County of 
			Henderson, and State of North Carolina, and Fred McBrayer and wife, 
			Hattie Neill McBrayer of the County of Rutherford and State of North 
			Carolina, parties of the first part, and William Searcey of the 
			County of Polk and State of North Carolina, party of the second 
			part, 
			
			WITNESSETH, That hereas, the said parties of the first part for and 
			in consideration of the sum of $4000.00 to them paid by the party of 
			the second part, the receipt and payment whereof is hereby 
			acknowledged, have bargained and sold and do hereby convey to the 
			said William Searcey, party of the second part, and his heirs and 
			assigns, all of the merchantable timber, suitable to be sawed into 
			lumber, of each and every kind, standing, growing, and being upon 
			those two certain tracts of land, lying and being in cooper's Gap 
			township, Polk County, North Carolina, and more particularly 
			described as follows:
			
			First Tract: bounded on the North by the lands of M.A. Jackson, H.H. 
			McCarane, and H.D. Jackson, bounded on the East by the L.B. McCraw 
			50 acres tract, and on the West by the Sherman land, and more 
			particularly described as follows, to-wit;
			
			BEGINNING at a stake, the most Southerly corner of Justice and 
			McBrayer's 58 - 7/10 acre tract and 85 acre tract, and more running 
			thence South 51 1/2 West 73 poles to a stake; thence S. 61 W. 11 1/2 
			poles to a stake, Blue Ridge Power Co. corner; thence with blue 
			Ridge Power Co. line N. 45 3/4 W. 102 poles to a stake, Blue Ridge 
			Power Company's corner; thence with another of Blue Ridge Power 
			Company's line S. 51 W. 30 poles to a stake, Blue Ridge Power 
			Company's corner; thence about S. 30 ... about 105 poles to a stake; 
			thence S. 61 1/2 W. with Justice and McBrayer's line of their 66 
			acre tract purchased from the Blue Ridge Power Company, 40 poles to 
			a stake, corner of the said 66 acre tract; thence N. 43 1/2 W. 138 
			poles to a stake, another corner of said 66 acre tract; thence North 
			34 East 120 poles to a stake; thence N. 39 1/2 W. to a stake, the 
			Sherman corner; thence with the Sherman line Wet 86 poles to a 
			stake; thence N. 58 W. 30 poles to a stake; thence with M.A. 
			Jackson's line S. 86 E. 180 poles to a stake; thence with McCranes' 
			line S. 30 1/2 E. about 65 poles to a stake; thence N. 4 E. 21 poles 
			to a stake thence N. 24 1/2 E. 14 1/2 poles to a stake; thence S. 86 
			E. 30 poles to a stake; thence S. 18 E. 18 poles to a stake; thence 
			N. 18 1/2 E. 22 poles to a stake in line of the L.B. McCraw 50 acre 
			tract; thence with line of said McCraw tract S. 37 W. 74 poles to a 
			stake, corner of said McCraw 50 acre tract; thence with another line 
			of said McCraw 50 acre tract S. 51 E. 83 poles to the BEGINNING, and 
			containing 204 acres, more or less.
			
			Second Tract: Adjoining lands of H.D. Jackson, Eli Jackson, L.B. 
			McCraw 50 acre tract and others, and more particularly described as 
			follows, to-wit;
			BEGINNING at a stake the beginning corner of the first above 
			described tract, which is also the most Southerly corner of the L.B. 
			McCraw 50 acre tract, and runs thence with line of said L.B. McCraw 
			50 acre tract N. 37 E. 100 poles to a stake, corner of same; thence 
			another line of said tract N. 50 3/4 W. 80 1/2 poles to a stake, 
			corner of same; thence N. 44 E. 4 - 3/5 poles to a stake; thence 
			with H.D. Jackson's line N. 3 1/2 E. 26 poles to a stake, Dennis 
			Jackson's corner; thence with another of his lines N. 58 E. 52 poles 
			to a Pine, H.D. and Eli Jackson's corner; thence with Eli Jackson's 
			line S. 4 1/2 W. 20 poles to a stake, his corner; thence with his 
			line S. 59 poles to a Post Oak, his corner; thence with another of 
			his line S. 70 1/2 E. 85 poles to a Black Gum; thence S. 79 3/4 E. 
			30 poles to a Pine; thence S. 24 1/2 E. 29 poles to a Chestnut; 
			thence S. 75 W. 140 poles to a Spanish Oak ;thence to the BEGINNING; 
			Containing 143 - 7/10 acres more or less.
