To all whom it may concern, Know Ye; that We Goold Hoyt, James B. Murray, and Arthur Bronson all of the City of New York n the State of new york Have and and each of us hath revoked annulled and made void and by these Presents we and each of us Do evoke annul and make void all and every the power and authority in writing or otherwise which we or either of us may have at any time heretofore given to James Stevens formerly of New Port in the State of Rhode Island and late of the County of Rutherford in the State of North Carolina for the sale or conveyance of any lands now or heretofore  belonging to us or either of us in the said State of North Carolina---for the collection of monies due and owing to us or either of us in the said State of North Carolina---or for the management or the transaction of any of the concerns or affairs of us whatsoever & wheresoever hereby escpressly [expressly] declaring all such Powers or authority to said James Stevens by, from, or under us or either of us utterly to have ceased terminated and at an end and absolutely revoked, annulled, and void to all intents and purposes---In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this thirty first day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and twenty nine.
