Scope and Contents
Contains dozens of letters sent by Frank D. Roberson to his family in Asheville from 1942-1944. Roberson was serving in the Army Air Force where he was being trained as a mechanic. Roberson was stationed in the United States and did not serve overseas during the war.

The letters were organized chronologically and were still in the original envelopes when received. This order has been maintained.
