Standard Workflow

• Backup Database - instructions for backing up the database
• Export Collection - export a collection record from Microsoft Access to make an XML finding aid or to send to cataloging
• Items - enter item-level information in the database
• Naming Conventions - guidelines for naming collections, folders, items, images, and transcripts
• Replace Old Finding Aids - replace old HTML finding aids with new XML finding aids
• Series and Subseries - enter series and subseries information in the database

• Administrative Functions - using the Administrative Functions menu in the database
• CSS - edit the Special Collections CSS stylesheet
• Database Installation - install the Microsoft Access collection database on a new workstation
• Drop-down Menus - add or edit links in Special Collections drop-down menus
• Dublin Core Display Names - change how Dublin Core field names are displayed on finding aids
• Dynamic Web Templates - attach a dynamic web template (dwt) to a web page
