Scope and Contents

The collection includes a pamphlet produced by the Industrial Education Association of Southern Mountaineers to raise donations for the organization, which was devoted to improving conditions for families and individuals; a brochure produced by the General Building Products Company of Asheville, describing a house built in Biltmore Forest, Asheville; and Mountain Magnolias: The Lives of Fourteen Avery Women, published in 2002.

Folder 2: Sixteen page brochure from General Building Products Co. Asheville, describing house at 19 Busbee Road, Asheville, which "was built to demonstrate....the building materials distributed by this company." Includes description of rooms, and advertisements for suppliers. Undated, believed circa 1937.
