Scope and Contents
Contains two scrapbooks compiled by Gordon Greenwood, and covering the years Greenwood served on the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners. The scrapbooks mostly contain newspaper clippings relating to Buncombe county, and western North Carolina, politics and politicians, with extensive coverage of the 1968, 1970, and 1972 elections. There are also a small number of photos and other items, all related to politics.
