3 Heavy varnished wooden block, 12" x 3.75" with chamfered edges and two 7/8" inch drilled holes ; purpose is unknown (possibly base or mounting plate?)

3 Medal case containing, Purple Heart medal, three medal ribbons and a "France" military patch ; [Recipient not identified but assumed to be Kendall Wayne Martin since in letter to Asheville Citizen-Times, December 2, 1973, Wade Martin described his brother as a "Purple Heart veteran of World War II"]
