Historical Note
Cross & Cockade Journal was published quarterly by the Society of WWI Aero Historians from 1960 to summer 1985 when the U.S. chapter of the Society folded. It was soon reformed into the League of WWI Aviation Historians who began publishing Over the Front in 1986, also in this collection.
Scope and Contents
Contains most quarterly issues of Cross & Cockade Journal from 1960 to 1985. Missing issues include all of Volume 6, 1965, and Issue 2 of Volume 16, Autumn of 1975.
