History
Over the Front is published by the League of WWI Aviation Historians based in Texas. The League was formed by a member of the editorial staff of Cross & Cockade Journal after the U.S. chapter of the Society of World War I Aero Historians folded in 1985. The League began publication of Over the Front in 1986 and are still publishing the journal, although this collection has no edition published after 2001.
Scope and Contents
Contains all of the issues from the first 16 volumes, from Spring 1986 to Winter 2001, of Over the Front, a WWI aviation journal, published quarterly.
