- Physical Description
- Contains newspaper and other clippings. Some clippings have been pasted into bound scrapbooks, or, after 1990 placed in binders. Some scrapbooks had broken bindings and these have been deconstructed, and the the loose pages have been boxed. A third group is clippings pasted to card and filed, and the final category is loose clippings placed in wallet files. The original order has been maintained wherever possible. Since the clippings are from various sources, overlap of dates, and duplication of materials can occur, especially in the bound scrapbooks. Boxed files are generally arranged chronologically by start date, and alphabetized within a start date.

An archive of historically significant press clippings related to UNC Asheville and its predecessor schools. The clippings originate from a number of sources and appear to have been collected by various agencies, including clippings services, meaning that duplication can occur.
