Scope and Contents

Contains an album of photographs covering the history of UNC Asheville and it's predecessor schools. The images are generally prints of photographs found elsewhere in the archives. The front cover title includes the dates 1927-1979, but none of the individual photographs are dated. Also on the front cover is a sticker commemorating the 50th anniversary of the university in 1977.

There are captions for two images that are not in the album. Whether they were never included, or a page is missing, is not known.
