- Contains 35mm photographic transparencies in card and plastic mounts. The transparencies are organized into groups and then arranged by date order within each group. Groups were generally identified (it is not known by who) prior the the commencement of processing and there are overlaps between groups. E.g. a department may be included more than once, and campus buildings are covered by many groups

Scope and Contents
The transparencies in this collection are thought to originate from the Learning and Resources Center at UNC Asheville - many, but by no means all, being identified as such. They show campus and student life, primarily from the mid 1970s through to the mid 1980s, with a small number also showing scenes and buildings in and around Asheville. The LRC had slides sets "to meet institutional, instructional and individual needs", and it may be that the transparencies in this collections were included in these sets. Dates are the processing dates on the mounts, and not when the images were taken.
