As the original order of materials in Box 1 is unknown, the materials have been condensed and arranged chronologically within alphabetized files. Duplicate materials within a file were removed during processing. Materials in Box 2 were refoldered, but the original folder titles were maintained, as was the ordering.

This archive holds historically significant papers prepared, or received, by the Office of Institutional Research. Although these are primarily dated after the creation of UNC-Asheville in 1969, there are some earlier materials relating to Asheville-Biltmore College.
